Descrizione: Floral tributes are piled outside the door to the Cathedral's Beauchun Chapel, looked after by two nurses. The funeral procession passes through the streets of the city, including soldiers with arms reversed and members of the WAAC, VAD and FANY. The coffin is taken from its gun-carriage and taken by Army pallbearers into the cathedral. There is a large crowd and many reporters. (Note the cine-cameraman carrying two cameras.) The Bishop of Norwich leads the procession inside, followed by other dignitaries and by convalescent soldiers. After the ceremony the coffin is taken out and buried. The crowd makes it impossible for the camera to get close. (Note the still photographer in a tree trying to get a better view.) After the ceremony the clergy and dignitaries lead the procession away.
